The River-Friendly Farm Certification Program is giving public recognition to farms which protect and enhance the Raritan Basin's rivers, lakes, and streams.

The New Jersey River-Friendly Farm Program seeks to recognize farms that, through good management, help to protect water resources within the watershed. It was developed in response to water quality concerns in the Raritan River which is a source of drinking water to over a million people.
